Spring is in the air....

...or so you'd think!

So it's getting really cold now, and I finally admitted that I'm not going to make it through the winter without getting myself a new coat.

So I set off this morning to find one, considering it's the dead of winter and FREEZING you dont think this would be difficult but oh my word! Walked into BHS to find it full of tshirts, strappy tops and summer dresses.................uh..................WHAT?!?!

Great marketing trick, I mean I'd have to buy 10 items and wear them ALL at the same time in an attempt to stay warm.  I know they tend to bring the new ranges out a bit before the seasons change but seriously, February.  You can tell I was slightly blown away by this.  So disgruntled I set off to find a coat.  It was not going well untill I happened upon a sale rail in one of the shops and found not quite what I had in mind, but it was warm, it fit and it was marked down from £75 to £30, that's my kind of coat!!!  Also invested in some thermal under layers (wow I lead such a rock style life!) and gloves, so I now feel more equipped to deal with the cold.

Dan also got some warm clothes and under layers as he plays football outside on a Thursday night, I think he looks like he's about to go out on a burglary spree, tee hee. He might just kill me for putting this photo in but it's too good an opportunity to miss, sorry honey.

So that was my day, not as productive as I had hoped by the time I finally found a coat, but at least I now can venture out without fear of turning blue or losing a finger to frost bite, no I'm really not being melodramitic..it's that darn cold!
